Been thinking about this - I was about to get a replacement hose for when I head offroad.

Was told it was $200-300 does this sound right for a hose that seems pretty unreliable?

Which got me thinkin again - if this hose gives out on a track somewhere - does jeep assist still come and pick you up? For no $$?

I read the docs - doesn't specifically say anything other than "so you can take your jeep wherever your heart desires"

I'm thinking about going to a fabrication shop that does alot of the intercooler piping for the skyline scene and get them to knock a set up for the jeep.

Then just use silicon hose joiners with some aviation spec hose clamps.

you can buy the hoses from the USA from peter@justforjeeps.com with postage my second set cost me $250.00 for both hoses. In Australia they are $300 odd each! riiiip!

Yeah but are they any better?
No point in buying a set every 3 months if they keep splitting

I haven't split one yet. Just replaced the turbo to intercooler with the new one because it is a better type of hose....more reinforcement. The intercooler to the intake is the same as the original. If you have a provent on your CRD, then the intercooler won't fill up with gunk, and the hoses won't split because of the increase in pressure.
