Is there anything holding the baseplate? I had a similar setup on my 40 series cruiser. If you don't secure it at the bottom it will get snagged and tear the bracket off. I managed to bend the jack rail on one occasion.

I am going to drill a hole through jack and tap my sliders to put a bolt in the bottom

I would be careful about the flex between the chassis (ie sliders) and the body (ie a-pillar mount). Given some decent continued use, the a-pillar mount would likely crack. Be alright for the odd trip I guess.

3" lift from DBOR - starter kit and shocks. Love it! Cheers to Bill @ DBOR. Can't wait to test it this weekend!

In Darwin ARB, last friday and had an ARB Bullbar and IPF Xtreme Driving lights fitted
