If your tyre is destroyed well..mmmm easy to just throw in the back. Rotopax are very "sympathetic" that is they will squeeze into spaces and not potentially damage items arounf it. Another advantage I think.

Default Trailmods on

Had a mate help me put on Trailmods. Thanks again DBOR. Getting ready for serious wheeling. Painted Bushwackers looked great but were too stressful off-road. Put them away for another day.

Shar: Do you notice any difference in running temps with all that gear (winch + lights) blocking airflow to the radiator?

Bozza, I'm in Bris and have similar setup (ARB bar, IPF lights, Warn winch) as Sharparte and I have never seen the temp needle climb drastically.

The original temp gauge in my 07 crd auto never moves once it gets to around halfway and I can get a temp variation from 88-114 deg on the scangauge.

Good question...as others have said here the stock temp gauge is useless. The temp protection cut off (no power and max speed is about a gutless 80km) has cut in twice this past 2 years. Once on a long run on a stinking hot day with AC on and another after a day of stop start city traffic. It's a safety mechanism to prevent over heating related to auto trans. I am in the process now of installing a heavy duty transmission cooler. Also plan to remove the small Drake grill inserts. They're black vertical pieces that I originally put in to protect intercooler. Look great and normally wouldn't likely be a problem but given the decked out front end best to remove. Also have two Aero gauges from DBOR. Still setting these up to monitor heat, pressure etc. Also installing Teraflex Big Brake kit in a few weeks to handle stopping with the weight better.
All laid out in my AJOR Garage summary
Time will tell...WTS

Default Added some bits from the USA trip

Nothing huge, but added some nice little LED lamps for the back on each side, plus fire ext holder. All from Off Road World in San Diego And then a little bit of black trim to the radiator and lights, from Rugged Ridge.
