a lot of JKs having probs with D30. if you must have a crd then get one the deals at the moment are real good but get rid of it before it needs doing up it will be painfull. A RUBI UL on 35s for me thanks a bit of bar work and no CLAK BANG CLAK BANG noise comming from the blown D30
Quadratec has the Rubi D44 front axle with the E locker for $2999.00 us plus frieght
They also need the wiring for the locker and the buttons to activate it at a cost of $110.00 us
Auto Swaybay Disconnect $1369.99
Rubi D44 Rear Axle with E Locker $1849.99
Total = $6328.98
+ Shipping which would likely be at least a Grand if not more based on the weight but say a Grand $7328.98
Exchange Rate 74 cents
Total Aus $9851.11
Plus Fitting and good luck Getting Chrysler US to honour the 12000 mile 12 month warranty as you are in Australia.
And thats without touching the T-Case
When you look at it this way the Rubi seems good value
dont forget to add the 20% duty you have to pay when you get it here for anything over a $1000 so we are talking based on your calcs closer to $12000

I bought the rubi as i intend to use it for what it was made for. 80% of the kays done in mine are too and from a forby destination and the 4wheeling itself.
Besides, nothing wrong in looking good dropping the kids off to school. Your getting soft like all the Toyota drivers out there
