Matt.
Make sure it's automotive glass though otherwise it may crack/shatter easily or make a nasty mess of someone in an accident.

At this point in time you probably won't be able to get non genuine as no one has them....and they can't cut/make you one up because the glass is curved ever so slightly (just enough to stuff ya)!!!

I know all of this after having to source two rear windows for my hardtop - there was no way I was paying the $1200 for genuine glass!!! I'm running tinted perspex windows now for a fraction of the cost - lighter, cheaper to replace and looks almost identical

$250, thats cheaper than the side windows for the soft top...

When mine got slashed some years back; they wanted @ $550, thank fully was having several challanges with the dealer at the time reagarding other issues and was replaced free of charge.

Yes a win....

I looked at the price of them too and WTF! Cheaper to go and get them custom made an auto/boat trimmer and they'll even use higher quality vynil for the windows. I think bestop also sell replacement softtop windows for factory JK soft top.

But hardtop...$250 ain't bad for glass but I too would go for a lexan (not perspex, lexan is a polycarbonate resin thermo plastic) replacement. Much more suitable for automotive window application, especially on the JK hardtop which is subject to expansion/contraction/flexing/bending/sticks.

ps: lexan link here http://www.plasticsfactory.com.au/lexanpoly/lexan.asp
