Sweet.
What did the front end come from? Was it a simple bolt on?

Looks great btw...

cheers

Front end is from a Hyosung GT650R but with A GT250R wheel (skinnier and means it's not wider than the rear )

Not a total bolt on but I have a mate with a lathe that machined a sleeve for me so I could run the stock sized Honda bearings on the Hyosung stem, with that done it was pretty much bolt it up. The good thing about the Hyosung stuff is the bikes are learner legal so the wreckers are full of them, the whole front end was pretty cheap, in fact cheaper than getting new disks and caliper overhaul kit for the stock brakes. Kinda made it a no brainer.

Cheers
Steve

This guard is just temporary until I make another one fpr the 17" wheel. Probably carbon fibre this time.

Now my CX is pretty much finished (last job was fitting a fatter rear wheel and 17" tyre) I've started on a XT250 which will be a street scrambler for my wife to ride (and me when I want to sit upright and carve through slow traffic)

And the XT, kinda mocked up Fat tyres are just propped against the wheels, I have lots of new parts (including spokes and digital gauges etc) to go on I have already given the engine a once over and fitted a Mikuni round slide VM34 carb to it, hoping to squeeze a little more power out of it over a stocker.

Cheers
Steve

The CX has turned out great Steve. It must be a blast to ride.
I can't wait to see what you do with the XT.
Cheers
