Hey Guys,

We do our test fittings at Opposite Lock in Nerang. We've tentatively booked the next test fitting for Saturday 1st November, (8am - 11am). The owner over there is a great guy and since he's our local retailer & installer I like giving him a behind the scenes look at all of our upcoming products.

At this test fitting, we'll be test fitting our WK2 Lower Front Guard, WK2 Transmission Protection Plate as well as our WK2 Nudge Bar.

You're welcome to stay and ask questions and take a look at all the products, or leave it with us and come back when we're all done.

If you're interested and can make it on the date, send me a PM with your contact details. It would be great to test fit our latest products on a 2011. In fact, I'd probably bring a WK2 Recovery Hook & WK2 Recovery Point along as well, so we can test fit those too.

Cheers,
Bill

Hey Hutch,

Thanks for the offer. For this test fitting we need to test fit on WK2s with the ACC Camera and parking sensors. Hopefully we're able to get a 2011 WK2 there as well.

I've definitely got you on our list of test fitters. I love the look of your Blackhawk! In fact, I have a few photos to send you from the last test fitting.

Cheers,
Bill

I'd love to get involved with this, pick up my new Overland on Tuesday, although I'll be a bit "foggy" on the first (wedding the night before!). I'll try to help in future!

For those of you with ECB bullbars on the 2014 WK2, the Chief bash plate fits fine. However didn't read the fine print (duh) and ordered the Chief front recovery point only to find the bullbar comes with two recovery points fitted. These can't be removed without voiding the warranty. Just be aware.

The other issue I found on the weekend was when trying to recover using those front points, they are mounted back inside the bullbar and a bugger to get the D shackle onto them. Not a lot of space to get it in and then trying to slip the locking pin into the shackle was a nightmare. Poor design IMO. Will drop ECB a line, however I suspect they assume everyone slips their hand in from underneath to fit the shackle. The bashplate stops you from doing that.

It was really fiddly getting the shackle on and had to step down from a 3/4 ton to 1/2 ton shackle (smaller size).

Hey,

Congratulations on the new Overland! I'm sure you'll love it, I love my 2012. Did you go with the CRD or the Hemi?

I actually just had someone cancel for our test fitting on Nov 1st. If you're feeling adventurous we would love to have you! We need a MY14 with the ACC Camera and parking sensors. If not, totally understandable. Weddings are always good fun.

Either way, shoot me your details (phone & email) via PM and I'll add you to our list of interested test fitters.

Cheers,
Bill
