USA Specs v Aussie Specs
I've just ordered a new JKU Rubicon, which will be 2013 plated when it arrives.
I've noticed the Australian Jeep web site is a little outdated with a few things on the new Wranglers, so my question is, will an Australian 2013 Wrangler come with all the same options and fit out which is listed on the American 2013 model?
Hope someone has experience with these things, and can advise.

It's unlikely to be completely accurate

Its prety close for a Rubi... except you won't get the 32" tyres, you will get the same tyres as a sport. Also you get front seat airbags in Aus as std, not in the US.
There are other differences in the Aussi JK models that are upgrades from the US versions (front brake rotors are bigger, better H4 headlights, etc). Also the bumpers are different - particularly the front.
They can add and remove more options than we can as well.
Its complicated, and the Aussie Jeep website is next to useless.

FireTruck, thanks for the information.
The size of the tyres were one thing I'd noticed, I think I also saw BFG Mud-terrains listed as well.
The Aussie Jeep site is still listing the old petrol motor, not the Pentastar.

Not sure what web site you are looking at but the jeep.com.au site has the 3.6L (new) motor.
BFG Muds are stock on the US Rubi's, but no, we only get the GoodYear Wrangler AT's on all models!
As for options we get............ none. We have petrol, diesel, 2 door or four door or a Rubi. If its on the floor you can have it, if you want a colour not in stock it up to 6 months wait. If you order specific setup, chances are after your 6 month delivery wait it will be wrong anyway (based on past comments from others).
As far as the 2013 bits, yeah, should be pretty close. Our web site seems to only get updated about 6 months after they are released. Pretty poor since the US site is normally updated a month or two after first hitting the street.

SeaComms thanks for the info.
This is a link to what I thought was the Aussie Jeep web site that I saw.
http://m.jeep.com.au/jeep-wrangler-m...atures-a-specs
I apologise if I've picked up an old site, or something, as I'm holidaying at the moment and trying to do my research via the tiny screen on my phone (not ideal).
It's a pity we don't get the BFG muddies, but I'm sure the Wranglers will more than do the job for a while.

Looks like the mobile website might still be old, but the desktop or standard website is current
