They did 100k service minus tranny oil and pollen filter, whatever the @#$% that is Drove it out to my farm at Woopi then headed back to the hill going up Dorigo the bloody dash lit up like a chrissy tree stability control light and a couple of others went ok drove to gunnedah shut it down for the night only engine light on next morning stayed on till Nyngan then went out somewhere between there and Wilcannia. Went Ok passed a couple of the big two nissan toyota at 120kmh with the float and horses aboard car loaded to the max see what happens Glad I got extended Warranty though

Sometimes, the CAS problem will allow you to restart and continue on...but when you first experience it, it is best to take immediately for a check up because the car WILL eventually just stop without warning and not restart .... and you could be crossing in front of a 22 wheeler truck when it happens....

.... so don't risk it....

I have an XJ and could not believe that something like a CAS could strand me, after years and years of reliability .... mind you that was in the middle of Sydney between two blind bend merging lanes....one being an on ramp. It was the most dangerous break down location that anyone could find themselves in... NRMA wouldn't touch that job with a barge pole so an RTA vehicle plus a police car had to coordinate recovery!!!!

Once the CAS was replaced, she was as good as noo....

Default Crank Sensor

same here, first time the commander died on the office main driveway, had to get it towed. Second time it did start but got the dealer to look at the next day and they replaced the faulty sensor once more.

Don't know what'll happen once the warranty runs out in another 10 months time.
