I've been holding off getting mine done, however my powerlift tailgate is dropping one it fully opens. It's driving the wife insane. But trying to wait till the recall is rectified.

Since that update, I am using at least an extra 1.5ltrs per 100kms. Over the last three weeks I had fuel following issue happen five times. I had the car start to shutter at speed, like it having issues finding a gear or something. Had the fuel and filters checked and it is all perfect. Worst thing is that there are no failures in the system, so I cannot get it addressed at the service centre.
God I hope the update when ever that will be will fix everyone's issues.
Any one else having issues with the car running rough?
Cant say that I have experienced any of this since having the recall done, apart from fan speed going off its nut.....

Cheers, Craig

As mentioned previously, you can get it serviced by the dealer and request them not to apply s49 'fix'.
My dealer also recommended not to have it applied because of issues.

Rang the service department this morning and was told that the patch for those that have had the recall done, will be available mid to late this month.......Yeah right!

Have a 2015 GC Limited 3.0 litre diesel and had the lock out patch installed about 6 weeks ago. Then had issues with the trannie shuddering like it was going in and out of gear at speed (up to 130kph in the NT) also whining like it had run a bearing at 60 kph and then again around 110 kph. Also have the fan on full blast all the time and not getting any better than 10.5 later/100km!! Drove from the Alice to Darwin and things took a turn for the worse with the transmission issues, so went to the local dealer, only to be told they were no longer FAC dealers, as of that day!! No faults on the OBD2 torque pro, so took the punt and drove home to Alice after a small sojourn in Bali. Took it to the local Alice dealer for 60,000 k service and "warranty" on the trannie only to be told after after 2 days that the issue was two different tyre sizes causing conflict with the elecronics for the diffs and trans! I have 265/60R18s all round, but different brands front and rear (long story, but think Gibb River Road and tyre availability!! All diff oils "burnt" and trans down 2 litres of oil. End result was a Big bill, zero warranty and 4 new tyres! Still have the fan going ballistic, but the rest appears to have settled. Hoping that there is no ongoing damage and the upcoming patch will fix the fan issue!

My missus dropped the GC in for a 40k service today. She asked not to get the shifter patch applied and was told no can do. Now the fan is going nuts, fuel consumption at 14+ and it drives worst than before we dropped it off. WTF!

And they wanted to charge her 2k+ to fix a ticking mirror fold motor because it's 2 weeks out of warranty.

Glad that's the only Jeep we have now.
