In 10 years of XJ'ing over 6 XJ's I have had one over heat. It's sheared a water pump.

7 years of wheeling the one XJ and I have gone through 4 radiators, 2 water pumps and a thermostat. Now the thermo fan doesn't seem to come on when it should. 18 degrees this morning, and the coolant temp is sitting at 105 degrees. Admittedly one over heating issue I had a few years back was me mucking around with thermo fans. I had it all working spot on just before summer Not blaming the XJ, I am just over sinking money and time into an ageing vehicle.

Soldered in a new wiring for the injector #1 plug this am...too bad that it seems not to have fixed the every-to-slight " resonating stumble" I have on idle....was kinda convinced it was that worn and exposed wiring....now it can only be a hundred other things..
