Default Wiring box

I wanted to get my 12V set up in my rear cargo draws right so I made this one up from some parts from Jaycar

I have two heavy duty wires going from the engine bay to an idolater relay(So I can isolate the two circuits and just work on my starting battery or just my second battery). From there it goes to the main terminals in this box. Then back out to my duel battery (A Thumper 105aH portable battery pack) through a low voltage regulator (so the secondary battery cant drain the starting battery if left connected).

The two bars are then energized to run any 12V accessory's in the rear. So far I have an additional duel socket hard wired in for the fridge, my two UHF Radios, a supply fan for the dry good section of my draws (I hate the smell of fruit and veg going stagnate) and my ARB air compressor. I have some future plans for plumbing in a water tank and tap at some stage but I am still working out the foot print.

Construction was as easy as buying a blank black box and the two bus bars. I used a basic adhesive to glue the bus bars in place and drilled wire access holes for the wires. If I was to make it again I might go for a bigger box to allow more room between the bus bars and also include a circuit breaker (maybe 50A due to the compressor). I am thinking of making another one now that I am looking at running a 50in LED lightbar as well as the spotlights, sidelights, HID head lights, rock lights and LED camp lights. I will put the second one in the engine bay to tidy up the rats nest that is still there even with the alternative power source in the rear.
