Free wheeling hubs on a JK

Hi Guys
Im a bit new to this 4x4 thing except for a stint in the army in the 1970's with landrovers (boy did we abuse them and they never let us down.)

Guy's and gal's can you fit free wheeling hubs to a JK's.?. Im thinking less wear on uni joints etc. If not any one know why not etc.?.

yes you can but it's expensive as you have to buy a kit which replaces your front hub assembly which also changes your wheel stud spacing so you have to get different rims and then different rear axels to match the new stud spacing

it's a bugger ATM and I too am waitiing for a better solution

they also change the stud pattern to 5.5 on 5 instead if 5 on 5 so rims have to match that i beleive solid have some but they are expensive

Hi Guys, Thanks for the quick replies , one can only hope some one comes up with a cheap solution to this problem. I suppose it all depends on supply and a big demand for a product for the price to come down.
