What does everyone do to get their spare onto the stock wheel carrier if they have upsized their tyres?
Put a spacer in maybe to stop the tyre from fouling on the casting for the high level brake light?
I'm just about to get some MT ATZ 285/70's fitted and they will be about 30mm wider overall than the stock tyre. There only looks like about 3-4mm between the wall of the stock tyre and the casting!

Yes, a new rear with swing away is on the wish list..... are the studs long enough in the carrier for a spacer?
The spacer bolts to the original studs, with an offset set of studs for the wheel. You'll need longer rubbers though to stop the spare stressing the tailgate/ tyre carrier. Daystar make a replacement set.
Pretty sure somebody commented in the Lift/Tyres forum that they used some door stops from Bunnings as a cheap alternative for spaces for their Spare Wheel.
