Tried again and didn't realise that it holds the gears for a lot longer rpm wise! Good video demonstrations of both!
Oh and does your TH have the "dog whistle" sound from the fuel pump and the spluttering from the four 3mm holes in the muffler mid vehicle?

The dog whistle is actually near the rear diff. Theres an electric motor there for controlling either the rear axle disconnect (I think its for the axle disconnect)

But it makes this whistle in park, others have said its the fuel pump?

Mine has the noise from the electic motor on the diff, but nothing exhaust related. While researching the noise on mine, I did read that some people have reported an exhaust whistle - apparently something to do with some breather holes in the exhaust (or something like that - can't remember exactly).

I don't get this 9th gear thing either , mine has never gone into 9th . Even if you select it manually there's no drop in revs .

You cant actually select it manually. What you are selecting is the maximum gear it will go to. A bit of a silly design if you ask me.
