Default KL Revs before changing gears in different modes

My KL Longitude is in the shop getting a paint defect rectified, the loan car I've been provided is a Limited and I believe these transmissions are identical.

I was just wondering at what rev's other KL cars are changing gears in different modes, as when I was playing around in the loan car it seems to rev about 3500-4000 before changing gears sand/mud mode.....I swear that mine changes the same as in auto or sand/mud.

Can someone please fill me in when their car changes gear in Sand/mud mode so I can double check when mine is returned.

Cheers.

I don't know the exact revs, but mine (Trailhawk) changes gear a lot higher in sand/mud than in other modes - the idea being to keep the engine in a higher torque range to keep you moving in sand.

Yes I think that should be the case on all, but I swear when I have played around with mine there is relatively no difference between auto and sand/mud. I'll check it when I get it back and I will be taking it back to the dealer if this is the case. I have done a lot of beach driving and plan on doing some in the summer, I have had the flash done at the first service I am thinking that this may not have been done correctly if I am not revving higher in sand/mud mode.

Got my car back today after mentioning to the dealership about the sand/mud mode. It seems to rev at about 4-4500 revs now before changing gears which I think is about right. Hoping to get it out on the beach for the first time this weekend to see how it goes will update.
