The camper is a good stream wing 3. Weighs around 1100 kg empty. I normally run it with a full water tank to lower the centre of gravity and make it more stable. When I am not towing it normally sits in the 13's in traffic and 11 or 12 on the highway. It was sitting in the 8's on the eastern highway heading into Melbourne last week. I find that one hard to believe. Must have had a big tail wind! It should also be noted that if my wife is driving when towing it won't go below 18 but she drives slower but I get much better economy out of her car than she does and I give it a thrashing.

I thought that the JK tow weight was increased when you add electric breaks.
my JK is CRD.
modded to the hilt even with larger rotors, 35s, diff ratios changed & every thing that weighs heaps that we all have just gota have is bolted on, so fuel economy without the camper around town is 12.5 to 13.5 & highway is 10.5 to 11.5.
my camper is a custom 5.8 mtr long tandem wheel Aussie swag, it has an area up front that holds 3 dirt bikes when we go bush or a small jetski when we go beach. above that is a roof top tent for the kids, behind the tray section is the full Aussie swag fold out camper section.
the JK tows it better fully loaded than my Nissan GU ever did, on & off road & both vehicles were set up with electric breaks & air bags in the suspension.
fuel economy when towing the camper fully loaded is 13.5 to 16.5 conditions pending.
on the june long weekend I am heading off over the range past Warrick with the family dirt biking it will be fully loaded again with all the gear & a 449 husqvarna, 250 Yamaha & 140 Chinese dunga.
WEVE GOT A JEEP, AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
love the JK.

Are these figures measured at the bowser or are you reading the on screen display?

I have corrected the speedo for the tyres. From the checks I have made it is close when running on petrol and about 10% out on LPG. I mangled the muffler I had on it so I put a straight through one on. That made a noticeable difference to power and economy. It also has an air raid box and snorkel. That made a slight difference too.
