JJ congrats on the purchase, what are the plans on the black xj? Parting it out?

Any pics? I am a fan of black cars, my previous ride was a black falcon ute. Hard to keep clean but oh so lovely when they are:

apologies for the non jeep pic!
Here you go...

Makes that black ute look a bit rough, this'd win any Show 'N Shine hands down...

Just fitted my new ebay 500w inverter after drowning my first one before Jambo. Although I now a bit dubious about it; it came with no packaging, instructions and it is so small it can nearly fit in the palm of your hand. $31 inc post. It works but I would not buy another the same. We will see how it travels over the next few weeks. Got an trip coming up so I will see if it handles that.

Regards A

Is it electrically isolated? I was looking at a cheap Aldi inverter a while back and decided against it as if an inverter is not electrically isolated and it fails 240v can show up on the battery side of things and damage car electrics/injure people. Gonna save my monies and get a decent electrically isolated unit.

That was the other issue I found, there's no regulations at the moment so the only way to tell is if its advertised as such. I know all the Jaycar ones are

Cool thanks for that. So the fault switch which cuts the current means not much then, is that right??
