Sweet, thanks for all the information mate. I think I will just move the dampener up and go with the new panhard bracket for now and see if that is enough.

What ever happened to the Ricky from TPB avatar?

Started fitting up the new dampener bracket, need a new bolt for the top so that I get some decent thread engagement. Ordered the bracket from Wooders as always I was blown away by his level of service

Fitted it up today and fitted a few other items. Just waiting on my new panhard bracket and I will be free from bind.

After fitting it up I took it for a drive, seemed much better, I think there were definitely occasions where it used to bind which no longer happens. I think I need some adjustable arms as my springs are not entirely straight.

After more time behind the wheel I have found a few more issues with the steering, seems that not all setups are the same. I am definitely suffering some binding issues with the steering components. the drag link/tire rod connection has been colliding with the sway bar bracket and at one time binding with it(caused a massive oh shit moment). I have now adjusted one of the steering stops so prevent getting hooked up like that again.
I have also removed the return-to-center portion of my steering damper to see if that cleans the steering feel up.

I think my only option to remove the interference is to drop the pitman arm as that will move the components away from the sway bar bracket.

A ZJ pitman arm gives a left-hand drive a one inch drop, They also make ZJs in right hand drive. Get a right-hand drive ZJ pitman arm, and you'll have a 1" drop. Not sure how much you're looking for though.
