Default HURST SHORT SHIFTER - 03 Wrangler Sport

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago I was at USA 4x4 and met a nice bloke named John.
We were shooting the breeze when he asked if I would like to check out his TJ (01 I think? Earlier maybe) inside was something I'd never seen before....

Hurst Short Shifter! We went for a drive in the TJ and Maaaaaaaan was it cool!
The drive on his TJ was really something else from what I remember it's got F/R diff lockers, 1.5" lift, long arm kit? Etc. Anyways the ride on this thing was AWESOME!!!!

But the thing that got me the most was that short shifter.

I'd just like to know if anyone else has any experience with these or has one fitted.

Hurst have discontinued the line, but there is a bloke I found in States that is putting them together with Hurst/other USA built parts. He says it will fit the gearbox. But won't fit with a lift (something I was hoping for in the future)

I've also read some good things on the US forums, it really seems like a personal preference.

NOT CHEAP THOUGH.....around $550 to Oz.

I really liked the feel of it and would love to get one.

So if anyone has experience with these I'd appreciate some advice...

offset that suit a LHD, core was 180 degrees out, does not fit correctly without a body lift and thats just for starters. As I advised "it needs more work and testing to check its not going to get damaged or do damage".

I"ve tried several configurations with the available sticks and even though Provato is tickled pink it's still not quite right, there are things that need to be addressed to properly convert it.

I'm hoping to develop a package that will suit the RHD NV3550 (lifted or not)
