Well, he's not a very smart salesman then, is he ?

The diesel will always cost more to make, the fuel injection system is more sophisticated, there's a fancy, variable geometry turbo, an intercooler.....

As for the KJ, the diesel option is $2600 over the 3.7. To be fair, you also get a six-speed auto instead of a four for your money.

Also, the JK CRD is the all-new "Panther" engine, the KJ won't get this. KK will.

not to knit pic but the kj only gets a 5 speed auto not 6

it is kind of a 6 speed, has 2 second gear ratios, one that is used on kickdown and one that is used when accelerating normally.

Apparently at Werribee they had only one wrangler and didnt let anyone drive it, were pushing the compass ahead instead.

In case anyone wants to know, they were at the fwd area off boundary rd exit, left all the wat down for about 15 mins till ur in the sticks, and its around there. Some 4x4 club.........

Thanks Wilmo. I don't care what Jeep call it, it has six forward gears, so there.
Dumb asses for calling it a five speed/multi-range. What does that mean to most punters ?
