Default tj front drive shaft...

when lifting a tj wrangler do you need to put in a longer front drive shaft? i am going to put a slip yoke eliminator + cv driveshaft in the rear so i dont have to drop the transfer case.

I saw that there are extended front shafts? is this necessary or not?

All depends on lift height and belly height.

I had a 4.5" rubicon express short arm kit with standard belly height and didn't need a longer front shaft but now with the 4"long arms and flat belly I needed one

What lift are you installing? Are you changing the belly plate?

You should be fine with the stock front shaft, really only need if you go long arm and stretch it with control arms

06-jeep-tj you should be fine, if you plan long arms and belly up in the future just keep it in mind coz you will need it.

I stretched the front of mine a little aswell, consider this if you go long arms coz you only want to replace your front shaft once

im leaving the belly plate for now. ive got the ORV 4" kit from the us. gonna give it a try see how it goes.

do you know a good place to put in your slip yoke eliminator?

4" lift + 1.25" body and 1" motor lift with 33's should be enough.
