Recent forum downtime - AUSJEEPOFFROAD.COM Jeep News Australia and New Zealand

Earlier today (Wednesday 12th March 03) the forum experinced some downtime, displaying an error message such as "Internal Server Error".

The problem causing this was (eventually) identified as being related to permissions on the forum code that had mysteriously changed... anyway to cut a long story (and it was long) short, all seems ok now.

Functions such as PM's, registering a new user etc ave been tested ok. If any other issues arise, please post a message in the thread entitled "Forum Errors relating to Wed" in this category.

(that way when all is resolved the thread can be deleted)

unfortunately circumstances have prevented me from being involved in the resolution of the problem and for that i am indebted to those responsible for fixing it...

Thank god for the powers that be, I've never done so much work in my lift whilst Ausjeep was down!

My boss, nay my whole company, are indebt to you. I was very productive on Wednesday and wrote a whole user manual [img]smile.gif[/img]

Unfortunatley now the site is up and running perfectly productivity is down again.
