It would be a bit unusual to have a bad sensor.
See if wiring from ECU to sensor is ok.
See if 5v reference value at sensor plug is ok (I think it has a 5v ref)
See if gnd at sensor plug is ok
I imagine the same 5v ref is the same for a few sensors, so if it's ok at the sensor plug, ECU 5v ref circuit is ok.
Then it's either a bad sensor or a bad A/D converter in the ECU, both unusual failures. A different sensor should be easier to find for testing.
