Default Vic High Country trip.
Doing a Christmas trip down to Vic High Country. First stop will be the Tom Groggin track from Tumut through to Omeo than up to Myrtleford for the night. My mate has suggested this way but looking on Google Maps seems like a BIG day. Is this an achievable drive or would we be pulling into the motel at Midnight? Any ideas?

Also looking at staying near Craigs Hut over Christmas. Will this be crowded?

Taking your time to take in the views etc, Tom Groggin station via Davies Plain track and Limestone Road to Omeo is near a full day.

Its do-able, but start early and finish late.
