Exactly, I need the rear seats during the week and take them out on trips. Would love to be able to make my own

You could easily just chuck in a shelf that is removable, mine is permanent. I'm happy with 2 seats, I'm not a taxi!

so my shelf system is nearly finished, just a few little last things need to be done, ill post some pics up once i have a chance, but its a solid flat surface just with a divider in the middle, i can always build draws later but doubt i will as you get more room without them!

i layed down the carpet today on the outside and just doing the inside, its a bit fiddly but ill get it and i also want to get those tie downs like tonka has....how do they install....do you need to cut a cirlce out so they counter sink then drill in your 4 screws?

i really do think this is one of the best mods you can do to your jeep. its cheap, effective and now i finally have room to store all my crap!!! do it if you dont need your back seats hahaha

Yep, hole saw then jig saw as it's not a perfect circle (template supplied) then four screws.

Slight thread revival.

Victoro, any chance you do have dimensions for your panels? Im about to do a similar build and it would make them a hell of a lot easier

Cheers
