7lt Hemi 4 Door Wranglers 1st off road test - Glass House Mtns 31st Oct 2009
Hi all,
We took the mighty 7lt Hemi out for its 1st over off road test last Saturday. Needless to say its was simply brilliant. No major issues just the front tyres rubbing on the Warn bar (needs to be trimmed back and boxed in) and towards the end of the day the Atlas 2 was popping out of Low Low due to the plastic center console surround rubbing up against the lever and providing just enough movement to pop the lever out. Just need to trim plastic and happy days. We also tackled Big Red, wasnt much of a challenge for the Jeep, just the owner who couldnt see anything but the sky whilst driving up, no joke!! Have a look at the clouds' reflection in the windscreen in the video!!
We went out with a mates Landrover, tough little truck too. His newly designed and installed airbag rear suspension worked insanely well!! Nearly rolled it in the 1st few miniutes of the day though!! lol! haha!
