Wink Hindsight......what would get?????

Hindsight is a great thing......now for you jk owners who would like to help a fellow out who is looking to get into a new jk, seeing what you have brought would you do the same again again or would you have got a different jk?
Petrol or diesel? Rubicon or renegade?
I'm looking for a rubicon but there seems to be a few guys who opted for the diesel and tarted there rides up to perform like a rubi.
Im after a rig that will be my daily driver and weekend fun machine, hence the rubi.
What are your thoughts as they might sway my choice.

Renegade crd auto with the off road group, this give you a rear locker , front swaybar disconnect and better diff ratio's is what I would choose but every ones needs different

What did you get intially?
From your tag it seems very similar?
There doesnt seem to be too much of a difference with that and a rubicon? Or is there?

I have a 07 crd auto atm but the off road group wasn't available in 07 there is still a few differences with the rubi 4.11 diff ratios the org gets 3.73, 4.1 low range, front d44 with locker ,different seat trim it all depends on what your wanting it for if your going to be doing a lot of towing I would recomend the crd if your happy with the V6 then I would get the Rubi

I would also take the same path as greenjk. Renegade CRD Auto with offroad group. If they ever make a rubicon CRD I will take that but don't think it will be happening in the near future.

Have always previously had manual fourbies but will be opting for the auto next time round.

i bought i a petrol rubi unlimited manual and would get the same again given the opportunity. I would consider the diesel if they did it in a rubi but not sure its worth the extra $4000 plus higher diesel prices and servicing cost. I find the petrol more than adequate on road and offroad.
It aint no sport car but then again it isnt

In hindsight I would have got the CRD Unlimited + ORG as I have seen MCJK's (2dr) and Rossj's (Unlimited) offroad and they are a bloody weapon.
