Hi Guys
I have sprintex on my 2010 JK auto.

Nothing to compare it too as this my first jeep. It has plenty of power.

I am interested in this thread though as a I am looking to get the tune checked.

Does anyone know of any places in Sydney that deal with these units?

Okay got my JK looked at.

There was a lot to improve on the current tune.

Do you know what gear it was in when they ran it? It's usually 4th.

I ask because I'm trying to translate kph to rpm, which is the important number to have on that axis.

Hi Banshee,

Not sure what gear it was in as it is an auto box.

With the mainline dynos you can control the wheel speed to build the power similar to road conditions.

In this case 10kmh per sec.

I just bought my Jeep (first one) had patrols before this. And wanted to make sure it had a safe tune. It had no cats [emoji36] so got some high flows then tuned. Feels a lot more drivable now.

That is a very strangely shaped torque curve; I would have expected a smooth rise to a higher RPM peak and then a drop off, closer to the power curve.

Please correct me if I am wrong but the numbers don't make sense to me either, assuming that the two graphs show the same dyno run's whole RPM range. The lowest torque at what I assume is the highest RPM is around 400Nm and 295 lb-ft and the peak power, also at a high RPM, is 120kW and 161hp. There is no way that power in hp can equal torque in lb-ft at 5252rpm (or Nm = kW at a theoretical 9549 RPM).

Yes that is a strange looking torque curve. What altitude are you at. Not that this affects the shape of the torque curve. I ask because I am at 6500 feet and am getting about 135kw which puts me almost exactly at the claimed HP less 18% for the altitude.
