TJ aircon blower fan. 2005 model
Hi guys.
I am trying to find a new aircon blower fan, does anyone know a part number and who might sell one in Australia?
I have found an apparent number for Valeo (698452), can only find one of these in the UK and says it isn’t for my TJ. Had another number but it also says that it isn’t for my car. Seems RHD blower fans are not east to find😕
Cheers. Adam.

The HVAC system in RHD is a mirror image of the 97-01 LHD. The fan Spins the opposite direction so the vanes are angled the other way. The fan housing/mounting is also mirrored. You can see the differences if you compare to the LHD pics on rockauto.com to the ebay item linked below.
The only one I can find with stock is on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HEATER-BL...3088#vi-ilComp
It's title states it's for 98-01 RHD XJs. The vehicle compatability list they have is wrong, listing XJs from 84 to 01. The fan will fit 97-01 RHD XJs and 97-06 RHD TJs.
LHD TJ fans changed to an under dash fitment in 02 so LHD have two fan types available. The RHD HVAC system stayed the same throughout the entire run with the fan accessed from the engine bay behind the battery.

Good info,thanks.
I got a part number from the local Jeep dealer, but they wanted $900 and had to order one in. He suggested I search the internet, Summit racing have one, $400 landed here. Part number is quite different though, 04864956.

Thanks JJ.
I didn’t think to drop the leading 0 when searching, anyway, have one on its way for $390 including postage. Also, since I’ve had mine out and gave it a little lube at the bearings and basically disturbed it, it has been working.
Got to have that aircon working, to hot in Darwin without.
Cheers.
Adam.
