I would like to know if the diesel is available without the air suspension.

They can lift and lower by pushing the buttons, but will never be able to install larger tires since the suspension will always return to its original "stock height"
I tested one last week and loved the motor. It was fine for zipping around town.
As for the QL with the CRD, it is an option on the Limited and Larado, so yes, you can get CRD without QL.

$55k is the price, but I didn't get the air suspension. I got tow bar, roof racks and tinting.
Jeep don't need to move on price - there is demand. Wait till there is less demand and the prices will either drop, or they will throw in more freebies.
