Default KJ spare tyre locking nut. NO key

As the title suggests I don't have a key for my KJ's spare tyre and I woke up this morning with one of my tyres as flat as a fart hence why I need the key.

Called the people I bought it off a week ago and they weren't any help sadly u was wondering if the KJ owners on the page would lend me their key to change the tyre over? I'm in southeast QLD
Morayfield area

Cheers fellas

I bought my own as one didn't come with it. Buy a set of torx bits from supercheap auto or do away with it altogether

I thought farts ALWAYS had air in them, otherwise you need to change your undies.

Can you get some Stilsons and get the lock nut off? Sort out a fix later.

Will the Stilsons work for this kind of lock nut?

Stilsons are designed to bite into the steel to get a grip. So a big enough set should do the job (as long as the nut wasn't put on with an air ratchet driver). Even if it doesn't work you can go back to Plan A and get the lock key.

There are a variety of patterns for the lock nut so there is only a slim chance someone else nearby has the correct one. Stilson is the best bet as stated by others.

I took mine to the tyre shop I'd just used to replace my wife's tyres when I found mine was missing. They had a special socket type thing that had a tapered thread designed to grab the nut. Was off in a minute. maybe give the local tyre shop a try?
