Cool An '05 bar fitted in '06....

Well,
Here's mine. It's a winch bar with no winch. It is one heavy mutha!
I found the guys at ARB had pumped the front tyres up to 36 psi!!
After touring around and taking the scenic route around Kangaroo valley, next on the shopping list is springs to cope with the weight. The standard ones in mine aren't bad but eventually will sag.

One thing I'm not happy about is the spotties position. Definitely blocking air flow so off they'll come for some back to back comparison. The car runs half a notch warmer on the temp gauge but suffers if you have the aircon on and are going uphill for a long time.

That's the second mod. Fit spotties to the two mount points on the top rail. I'll be checking whether the Lightforce strikers will fit OK.

Enjoy
Kojak

Kojak, Mate i would not be happy with the fit of that bar, the gap between the the flares and the bar is very noticeable, have a look at my bar(aussie images), i would be taken it back ARB and asking the question. Mine is a petrol however i have never had any issues with the spotties and air flow even when flogging it across fraser island for five days.
