I finally got around replacing the diesel line quick connects at the back, as my Jeep has been letting air in (prime was always soft).
Took me around 4 hours as I had to drop the tank, and used high pressure hose and double clamps.
The strange sound I was getting earlier which sounded like water hammer or a bag of marbles is now gone.
Seems to also pull a little better at low revs. Even my wife mentioned it sounded quieter.
Will have to wait and see how it goes after a few days, but I should have done this sooner.
Edit 05/06/2017
After a few days, it seems air in fuel fix was not permanent as I am still having air entering the line (can prime it every morning and air comes out).
I can only imagine that the fuel head could be letting air in, even though it's almost brand new.
My next step is to install a fuel pump.
