Default Follow up on these filters

How are you all going with yours? I have just taken the KJ from Melbourne, to Tibouburra, Innamincka, Birdsville, Quilpie, Burke and back to Melbourne. I ran an new stock filter for the first few days - it was crap and clogged up quickly and could not be cleaned out well at all. So I put back in my filter bought with this group that I have been blowing out and it worked so well that I could tap it out every day and heaps of dust could easily be removed and every now and again I compressed air cleaned it.

So all in all very happy with what we bought. How about others?

Didb 17000 k's through the Kimberly, the centre, Tanami track and Savanah way last winter, worked like a charm - think the snorkel helps as well.

Just my 2 cents worth............I replaced the stock air filter with the K+N and havn't looked back. Did the same to my XR6T and worked a treat on acceleration, economy and clean air - you should see what it catches! Oil every 10k and all is well! Got mine direct from US and saved a heap.

Still use my K&N did a 7000km round trip to Port Douglas and back...

Off Road and On...

Can vouch for how good K&N is.....

K&N cops a beating as they are the largest but I run them in all my vehicles (3 of them 1 ute 1 Ford Falcon and 1 KJ petrol

After all these years and 1000000ks never seen one let me down,,

Wash every 5-100000kms and good as gold..

Hope these are better and not just a gimick
