I've got all the same symptoms on my MY14 GC Diesel, plus occasionally the radio goes to mute/unmute. Had my S49 done after Christmas.

Hi yep bought a demo diesel overland and the fan started revving, took it in and they updated to fix the bug in the S 49. No drama they had it for a few ours. It's been great.

well I'm now up for the 70000 service and as per RRT Service Bulletin No.18-078-16 the 3lt Diesels now run 5W-40 which will involve Flash enhancements and I get the S-49 so I,m going to get JEEP to sign my terms of condition, if my GC plays up I get a free 80000 service

Why does the jeep need the computer adjusted to suit the 5/40 oil? I've been using that weight oil for ages & nothing special needed to be done.

Well that service bulletin says: reprogram powertrain control module & the transmission control module plus you get a little sticker that gets stuck on the oil cap? now I wonder if this is relation to a couple of 3lt WKs doing their bottom ends?
