No - the recall was issued in
April. Anton beamed himself up in
June (because of him:
a: stopping the GC on a steep incline
b: not placing the transmission in Park but left it in Neutral
c: not engaging the Park brake
d: exiting the vehicle anyway with the vehicle in neutral, the Park Brake not engaged and ignoring the EVIC display.
e: ignoring the additional bells and whistles when he exited that told him the vehicle was not in Park to wander down and close his gate.
The recall was initiated well before his death. He, in all likelihood had received the initial recall information. Why you would leave your vehicle (any vehicle) in neutral on a steep incline and get out and behind it, is beyond my comprehension.
