Default 2012 Limited wheel options

Hi all, done plenty of reading and it seems to me the 2012 Limited can’t handle 16” wheels. Has anyone managed to prove otherwise? Thanks in advance. Cheers

I had a 2011 with 18" rims and went to 16"s no problem however I believe in 2012 the Jeep changed a few things and as a result 16"s will not fit.
