JKU heavy duty tank is $1750 plus $450 fitting. This is what I paid in 2011, might be a bit more now.

yes id say theres been a bit of a $rise, but the 2012+ V6 JK's are a few hundred more due to the Exhaust bits added to the kit and extra labor for fitting exhaust.

My First LongRanger was just $1,100 in 2008 but that was because i drove to nsw for Longranger to trial and fit, mine was the second SWB JK they'd done but their first diesel, their first was a 3.8Petrol, mine a CRD. Still it took em 2 full days but it was ok cos i got it cheap for them to use my car.

It is a good well made product, all aussie owned and built, i have no problems paying for quality.

AEV snorkel. Pretty terrifying using a hole saw and a grinder on your hood! But drilled, cut, painted and rivetted in about 90 minutes! Happy now. . .

Yep just did the same- did you find the cutout template ok? i followed the instructions exactly of where to place the pattern but when i cut the hole it didn't come far enough back, also their starting point 23mm from bonnet latch ridge is not enough, could of been 4 or 5mm more as the forward gap was large.
Im sure ive read the same experience from someone else that they would have positioned the template further back than the 23mm.
But i had to cut 10mm more metal away from the rear just to close the bonnet!
All ok it ended up a good neat job and the trim covers the cut out area well, but due to stuffing around as to how much more to cut took me a lot longer than 90mins! (u work quick, or i work slow lol)

Also you end up cutting off one hood insulation lug and the insulation liner hangs down, ive just taped the edge up now, but a 'Clip' in the AEV kit along with mentioning the liner needs to be cut would of been nice, not a drama i'll make up something, probably just drill a hole and fit a push in xmas tree plastic plug where the white tape is in the pic, i.e, be same as the other 5 plugs that hold the rest of the liner in place.
Good Quality Snorkel even though it says Made in China!
