Default Why LIE?!!!!!!!

I'm sick to death of it.

I've got to the point, where I DON'T put up with. ZERO tolerance.

Had a couple of orders recently, with 4wd Supercentre. I know they can take their time with things, but sending the incorrect item, then virtually calling me an idiot, because "How do you know its the wrong one?"
WTF???
I jumped through their hoops, filled their forms, and waited. And waited. Phoned, "she'll call back". Nup. Got the run around for a weeks. Finally caught the piece I was after, learnt she hadn't processed my claim yet!! and dully got it done, that afternoon, after getting over her ear haemorrhage. I received the product, a few days after the wrong one was picked up.

A popular, large 4x4 outlet in Aus, was approached, by me to supply a pair of front shock absorbers, for a JK Wrangler. The ones I received were the same length as what I've got.
Too short. The outlet couldn't exchange because there isn't a longer shock for the JK!!
WTF???
Cost me over $60 to take them back to the thieving bastards!!!! RESTOCKING fee!!! OME shocks by the way....

I found the longer OME shocks I needed, at a very popular USA outlet. Very easy to order. Very confusing to use your account info about the purchase history though.
Ended up, these weren't available. Cancelled the order.
Ordered another pair of shocks, same outlet, different brand of shock.
Everything seemed sweet. BTW, date is June 14 2016.
Received an email; thanks for your purchase.
All good, estimated delivery 8-10 days blah blah.
Week passes.
Email; Please confirm this is your order, so we can release instructions blah blah WTF???
OK this is my order!!! Hurry the F up.
Week passes approx.
Email; Thank you for your order. The Items above are out of stock.
Nothing is there. YAY. SEND MY STUFF, DAMMIT!!!
If everything is in stock it will be dispatched immediately.
wait two weeks. Check status. Confused as all f*ck!!! Drop shipped. On one page, on the other page it IS shipped!!! Tracking number space is empty, except for an asterix!!

So, they're selling me stuff they DON'T have. Telling me it's shipped, when it isn't. AAHHGGG.

I send an email, asking where my shocks are. If they are shipped, I want a tracking number. 18/7/16

I get,
I apologize for the delay. We have received your parts into our warehouse. All international orders have to be shipping out of our main warehouse. This will be shipping out tomorrow and tomorrow I will be able to provide you with a tracking number.

If you have further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are always happy to help!

Have a great day!
21/7/16

Tomorrow never comes!!!

I place a phone call, I get quite persuasive.
A gentleman assures me my shocks are on their way, he's going to send me an email with his info right away. Totally understands me, is very sorry BLAH BLAH F U C K I N G BLAH 27/7/16

email,
Jason,

Here is my contact information. I'll get back to you with that tracking number some time today"

Sometime TODAY, Hasn't come either!!!!! 27/7/16.

Last week, I ordered bushes from Summit Racing. TOO BL00DY EASY!!! Got 'em a coupla days ago!!!!

Today 4/8/16 I sent email, to refund my bl00dy money in full or give me a f u c k i n g tracking number.................please!!!!!! With all previous correspondence attached!!! Including a memo, to talk to SUMMIT about running a business!!!

I'm sick of pretenders.

Sorry to laugh at your nightmare but we've all been there at some point - not as bad as your description though

Funny thing is - I've discovered a few vendors who are just as good as the others are bad.
Unfortunately, some are still terrible - I hadn't used a particular vendor (starting with 'Q' ) for a looong time due to being stuffed around so many times.
Don't know why I gave them the benefit of the doubt again, I should have known better but am now in the process of chasing parts that haven't been received.

But you are right - it's the blatant LIES that are the worst.

Been waiting for a fix for my Navigation system - was advised by Jeep in September last year, after taking two months to convince them I had a problem and then for them to say yes they are aware of that problem and a fix will be out shortly. Its almost a year and 2 updates later and still no fix. Dropped to Dealer again today - no use whatsoever.

I feel your pain Bruggz. I have been waiting on my accountant to file my company tax return since May, I'm now getting fines accrued by the ATO, family tax benefit is breathing down my neck to pay back amounts I have received off the back of them not receiving completed returns, I've recently had to deal with $1000 of ASIC fines on account of not having company paperwork filed appropriately that was never sent to me (by the same accountant) and have had to engage a new accountant to process the outstanding paperwork, and solicitor to try to recover lost amounts at a cost of £#%> knows how much to come.

And then there is my jeep parts list that just seems to get bigger by the day..

These arseholes are everywhere.

You gotta have a certain rhytm and tempo in order to keep on keeping on I reckon.

I will not deal with a certain vendor here after being stuffed around a few times though he comes good with his "mates".

Having said that, as Wes has said, there are some good and great ones.

I have had fantastic results with:

SBR Offroad : Vic and Sue
Shents: Phil
Jeep Konection: Glen
Countless US businesses

So so with Double Black Offroad

And not so great service with a frequently mentioned vendor here, even after spending a rather large amount with him, so as I said, no more.

But the build has to go on, and I just suck it up...no other way unfortunately.

I know where you are coming from and sympathise with you. I waited around 9 months for a front and rear bar for my TJ.

Welcome to the world of auto spare / aftermarkets parts. It's the same for every make and model.

Wait until you have to deal with a wrecker. They know they have what you want and can charge whatever they see fit because they are the only ones that have it.

As for Jeep parts I'm with Tyvokka:
SBR
Murchison Products
Seven Slot
Jeep Konnection
DBOR
US stores
