Default GME transmit problem
Came back from holidays and revived the jeep from a flat battery, now when I try to transmit with the radio it displays "pair" and an arrow icon, nothing in the manual about this, any idea what I've done?

Which model GME?

Could it be trying to go into a duplex mode where you use a repeater channel & it wants you to select it? Hmm, no. That seems to be channels 1-8 only & autmatically transmits 30 channels higher, according to the pdf manual.

I'd try calling their support tomorrow and asking them.

TX4500, was hopping I'd pressed something by accident and simple fix, have emailed support for some more info, hoping I don't have to pull it out for warranty

Has that model got bluetooth connect?
Sounds like it's trying to pair with your phone, tablet or something?

No bluetooth, shouldn't be trying to pair to anything in that sense. You got me looking in the WS variants manual though, the one with the wireless PTT button, 'PAIR' is the message displayed for the process with that so seems as though mine has somehow got itself halfway confused with that model.. May be able to fix this, would like to try factory reset but of course that requires a special cable
