The trouble is that there are a few really interesting vehicles down here. Not that I should mention it here, there are three mint Citroen DS21's living within 200 metres of each other in Sandy Bay which seem to be used as daily drivers!

Never saw the assortment that I see here when I was on the "Big Island"!!

Cheers.

Default My full size jeep

G'day,

Just wanted to share my jeep project i have been building this FSJ up for a number of years and have just finally got it on the road.

I have done all the work myself as outlined-
Full rebuild on the AMC360, balanced, match ported, all new valve train with Melling cam, Bulltare oil pump and timing case upgrades with 13L offroad sump, new engine harness and rewire of everything, MSD ignition, high flow water pump, custom exhaust, dyno tuned, new seals and fluids, B&M shifter, 3 inch body lift with 32" coopers SST.

No doubt i have missed something it has been a long road getting it to this stage really enjoying getting out and driving it still a few little mods to go like front bar and maybe EFI.

Hope you guys enjoy.

Regards Ben.

Check out my Ride(s)
Default

This is my 72-73 J4000 (J4700) 258 4speed, Power drums all round, Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear Diffs. My son and I are going to restore it and try to improve some things like a front disk brake conversion! I've ordered a few parts and rubbers from the US and will probably order the brake conversion from there too as its harder to find the parts here in Australia.
