Default Front Diff Bushes

Hi i have noticed to common clunk in the drive train, on further inspection i can see the front diff bushes are flogged out.

What are people replacing them with the genuine part or aftermarket.
Please give some brand names if you recommend aftermarket.
i can get genuine for $149 online

I have rung around perth for prices to supply and fit from dealers to jeep specialist. The prices vary so much, To my surprise wanneroo jeep is one of the cheapest to install and supply bushes, what are genuine parts.

The "soft" poly-bushes from Jeeperf are the best option IMO;
http://www.jeeperf.com/product-page/...al-bushing-set

Seem to be lasting much longer than OEM, and still pretty soft.

Think a few of us have been running them for a while with good results, ie, not flogging out 20k after installing them, like the OEM ones and aftermarket sometimes do.

Just note the the installer would also need to press the Jeeperf bush into your original front bracket.
Where-as the OEM front bush comes already pressed into a new bracket.

Also have a vague memory I've seen typical "two piece" poly bushes from Superpro, which would be easier to install, but probably a bit harder than the Jeeperf ones.

Thanks for the feedback on the Jeeperf bushes! I replaced front diff bushes a little over 12 months ago(std rubber); with a 2" lift and some decent wheeling the top bush is showing signs of wear....
Jeeperf next for me!

jeepkraft in Wangara installed my superpro bushes and should last a long time! They said they developed the bush and have a fair amount of experience in changing these things. Did the whole job in less than a morning.

Jeeperf poly bushings.

Just make sure you get them pressed in properly as they can be a very tight interference fit!
