Had my update done this morning (1hour 45min
First thing I did was try 4Lo in the car park & guess what "Service 4WD System"
Went back to the service counter and told them, I asked if they had cleared all codes before the flash & was told did have codes relating to coils & spark plugs
its a diesel
I said, Girl quickly said must have been glow plugs. Jeep went out the back again (15min) came back and said all good, had an active code cleared them & no faults left on computer.
Have engaged 4Lo several times since the flash & no apparent faults.
So be specific to the girl/bloke at the counter when you drop your Jeep in for the recall, tell them to clear any codes before the flash and try 4Lo once the flash is done
What pissed me off the most was when the girl behind the counter asked me how I knew this could be a problem I said from an on line forum. Her reply "Oh the internet
