My day is going from bad to worse.
Filled up the GC (with Shell V-Power!!) & drove the mile home. An hour or so later I notice a damp (no, wet) patch under the middle of the car.
As far as I can see it's coming from the fuel pipes just before they curve up around the toeboard to the engine bay.
Are these high pressure lines? If not can I cut them and splice in a rubber fuel line or do they have to be replaced in their entirerity?
They are low pressure. One is actually under slight vacuum and the other just flows back to the tank via the cooler (under the floor below the back seat).
It wasn't fuel but water coming from an outlet just above the fuel lines. It could be the drain from the aircon or possible a drain from the scuttle though there hadn't been any rain for some time.
