Default Can't remove CRD hp pump?

Hi, I'm trying to remove my high pressure fuel pump from the front of the engine due to it leaking but it won't budge.
I've followed all the write ups to remove the 3 bolts holding it in place and removed the fuel lines, low pressure fuel pump and heat pump to get a better grab on it. I can only pull it out about 5-8mm away from the front of the engine and only that much after leveraging behind it with flat head screwdrivers and wiggling back and forth.
I've spent over an hour wiggling and leveraging but it just won't separate fully from the engine. Getting very frustrated and now I'm out of ideas.
Can anyone think of why I can't remove it?

Does it need to be lined up at TDC to release the drive?

None of the videos or posts I've read indicate that but it may explain it?

I took the photo when I had mine out of the engine for service.
Leaked one of the three heads.
Took it out pretty easilly, no fuss at all.
The coupler is straightforward (cross shaped) and there is nothing there that could hang up.

Any success yet? Sorry, I don't have any suggestions. Just curious if you got it off and how.
