Just put in a set of Samco hoses I bought from in QLD for $400 delivered for both hoses. Thought that was better than $500 for the top hose that failed. They look a much better hose and the original had only 47000k. Failed on the inside corner, seemed very unusual.

Unhappy Jk turbo hoses

My 2007 JK blew a turbo hose 140 Km out of Broome....Limp Home Mode!!!
I'm seriously considering Samco replacements as it would seem that most genuine Jeep replacement stuff is CRAP...I'm now having to replace steering Damper No 5!! Aftermarket here I come!!!
Has anyone had issues with OPTIMA batteries??? They, also seem to die prematurely....I've done a temperature monitor & the max achieved is 57 degrees which Optima say is well within its limits...I've just fitted a sexy Dual Battery System by JEEPKRAFT in Wangarra, Perth but have my doubts if this will solve the dilema....I'm always extremely careful when using the winch [rarely ] & Lights that the engine is operating before being used. Help please

Yup my 07 blew its hose at 72000 which is about the window when they let go. Went down the samco path and am very happy with the product.

Aparrently the factory optima is a bit of a cheaper budget version of exactly the same battery bought elsewhere. Mine died at the 3yr and 1 day mark, so 1 day outa warranty FECK!! I replaced with the same optima (not sourced from jeep tho) and its been fine, actually when jeep did a load test on it they were blown away by the output compared to the supposedly same stock ones!!

Hey where did they put your second battery?

I've head that Jeep has upgraded the stock hoses, they may still not be as good as the Samco hoses however, and definitely way more expensive.

Replaced my turbo hoses with Samco before stock ones became an issue. A very well made product that will probably outlast the vehicle.
Optima D31A is far better than the stock optima in the diesel. I believe the stock optima was made to a price for Chrysler and others as an OEM battery. Does not do aftermarket optimas justice.
