CJ says it's their internal TSB, so I was given no number. Big secrecy! Boo... But they shared a few details. It's quite new and for JK build before 16-Jan-09. It's titled "Hard to fill diesel vehicle", applies to JKs with CRD and has 3 major parts updated (see above). It's on CJ Australia's system and any dealer/service can now look it up. The parts are ordered from Germany. I'll try to snatch the number later one way or another.

Well... they say the design for CRD was done by CJ in Germany. They don't have high flow pumps at regular petrol station in EU. Their small diesel cars all have narrow filling tubes and the car pumps have low pressure for diesel. It wasn't designed with Oz outback in mind. But they screwed up the vent system anyway.

The problem isn't high flow pumps [ with mine anyway ] I can't fill up at a reasonable rate at any pump , I haven't even tried a high flow pump , for starters the nozzle wouldn't fit in the filler pipe on the jk & as soon as you squeezed the hand piece you would get drowned in diesel .

The restrictor was taken out after half a dozen fills .
Regional manager suggested it .
