YOM--- I have not notice any increase or decrease of power or fuel consuption,,to early to tell I only used the jeep twice since the snorkell install.

MATT----the wheels are cragar soft 8.. 16x8,, with 5 inch backspace,
and the center caps are the stock jeep center caps that come from the factory,,I just spayed them with black spray paint and they fit like a glove over the cragar wheels.

and you can use the factory bonnet with the finishing metal strip that comes in the instalation kit,,it looks very factory.

JKOHN---yeah,,it all depends in personal opinions, I waited a long time to give airflow the chance , but I realy dont like airflows,,I did have airflows on my jeep cherokee xj and liked it a lot,.
--painting the filter flat black was the only way to accept the prefilter I hated the way it looked clear.
im waiting to recieve the air ram tip for it ,,it should be out soon, but im not sure if im going to install the air ram scoop yet, since I realy like the way the prefilter looks black.

Dont like the extra heat that the AEV would pickup on a sunny day myself. Lengthens the look of the bonnet too which I am not a fan of either. Think the flow would make up for it once you fitted a ram head as would have the least restrictive route.
The Airflow would be better with flow than the Safari though looking at the tube size and route it takes. Like the look of the Airflow myself the most as for me it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

First impressions from our Safari Snorkel.

Has appeared to loosen up the engine, particularly in low rev range.

Turbo seems to spool up earlier.

Appears to have reduced Turbo Lag by a significant amount.

Engine seems noisier, it's only marginal but it's noticable.

Will make an attempt to put a few k's on it over the week and see what happens!

To keep me honest, pre-snorkel Fuel Economy on a mixed cycle has been 10.2L/100km's.
