What about the 4.7 out of a WH 2008-2010 twin spark plug version. They are rated at 230kw far more than even the HO in WJ. Not sure if the PCM would still chat with BCM though. At least you know it would fit in the engine bay.

I'm leaning towards an LS swap at this very early stage, but nowhere near decided.

Possibly rebuild this stronger with Supercharger? Hmmm They're the top two at this stage.

So, I have a similar issue to consider.
What my thinking is so far is, top choice would be the 3.0l Turbocharged V6 diesel from a WK2, great engine, more economical and faster than our Powertechs, or, second choice would be to buy a long motor, then rebuild it with all of the forged racing crank, rods, pistons, performance cams (or at least HO or 2007+ cams), new throttle body and a supercharger.
The second idea has a lot of virtue for me as it doesn't require huge amounts of fab work (which I don't have the room for) and I can build it on the bench and then just swap motors.

I originally wanted to go to a performance diesel but it looks to be too much drama atm.

Doug.

I'm just flying out the door to work, can't concentrate on every detail above

Did I mention it has to fit into the engine bay and trans tunnel?

I definitely don't want to have to do any sheetmetal too.
